Lois is a public law solicitor who acts on behalf of individuals or groups to bring challenges against local or central government decisions.

Prior to joining PILC, Lois represented clients in a range of matters including community care challenges, public law challenges to trafficking decisions and age assessments, inquests, and compensation claims for survivors of abuse/neglect while in the care system.

Lois is joining us to support the work of residents’ associations campaigning for developments that benefit the local community, and will be advising on strategic planning and environmental law challenges.

Lois is passionate about social justice and is a member of the Haldane Society of Socialist Lawyers, Legal Sector Workers United (branch of United Voices of the World), London Renters Union, as well as being a co-founding member of Materialist Lawyers Group. She occasionally writes for the online publication rs21.org.uk.
