We use the law to
build power.
The Public Interest Law Centre uses legal action, research, and advocacy to fight structural injustice alongside communities.
We work in collaboration with impacted individuals, grassroots groups, campaigns and frontline organisations.

The Met reconsiders decision not to investigate British nationals alleged to have served in Gaza.
We've brought a judicial review challenge after the Metropolitan Police's War Crimes Team decided it had insufficient evidence to investigate ten British nationals alleged to have served with the IDF during operations in Gaza.
Following a Letter Before Action arguing the closure decision was improper, the Met has withdrawn that decision and agreed to conduct a fresh scoping exercise.
Public funding for legal aid has been decimated.
We’re a dedicated not-for-profit law centre. Cuts to legal aid mean that we have to subsidise the majority of cases that we take on.
Your donation will help fight for the rights of every person who needs our services.
